Why Sweden and why Sunne

Of all countries and all possibilities in the world, why Sweden and why Sunne?

I always had the feeling, I can’t define, that drew me north way. Now as we stood at a point in life, where we had the possibility to start something new, this feeling grew stronger and stronger. 

We are both nature loving people and want a life with and from nature, as far as it’s possible. Sweden seemed to offer us anything. Wide and originally nature, a lot of space and privacy, but also a mentality of friendship and helpfulness. 

It offered us the possibility to find our home. A home where we could live close by nature, but also by new friends. A home where we can grow our on food and what we can take care of. A home which is surrounded by lakes and forests, where we are able to hunt and fish and just be a little part of everything.

We came here and started to realised, that those dream we had about our new home came true. We got to know amazing people, we prepared vegetable gardens for next spring and gathered some food in the forest right in our neighbourhood. All in all we found not only a house to live in, but a home and a new world we feel like that this is the place we belong to.

There is still a lot of work to do and a long way to go in some things, but Sweden and Sunne offered us the possibility to fulfil our dreams.
